Keeper Of Promises

God's promises to us are true. Don't try to force their fulfillment before God's timing. There were many in the Bible who fell into that trap.

When Cain was born, Eve thought he was the promised serpent crusher. We all know what Cain became.

Abraham thought Ishmael was the promised child. He thought that through him, God would bring about the original promise of a vast multitude of descendants. God reminds Abraham that a son from Sarah, Isaac, is the fulfillment of the promise. All we have to do is read the papers regarding the Middle East and see the effects of what trying to rush God's promise can do.

King Saul lost his kingdom by stepping out if his calling and trying to force the blessing from God by sacrificing. This was the responsibility Samuel. For that, God gave the kingdom to the second king of Israel, David. The Promise would be one of his descendants.

When Jesus was born, God's promise was fulfilled. Where the first Adam failed, the second one would succeed just as He had Promised.

This year, have faith the Eternal Promise Keeper will bring His promises to pass in your life.

Cross Conduit

The Cross of Christ is the conduit that transmitted the life of heaven into this dying world. - FCS

The Mystery Revealed

The Apostle Paul received the revelation from God regarding His plan in the world. The Mystery was that no longer was God just blessing, saving and using the Israelites, but He makes the rest of the world, Gentiles, recipients of the promise and partakers of the new covenant in Christ.

Christ made it possible, by God's grace, for everyone who has faith in Him, to be a child of God. That means that He no longer is holding back anything from you. Whereas before we believed, we were in enmity with Him and walked according to our own sinful desires. All we were going to receive was His wrath. But God. I love that phrase. "But God". He loved us while we were still sinners. He made a way for us to be part of all of His blessings.

Paul says that these blessings are beyond what we can imagine. He says they are unsearchable riches. They are both unimaginable and unsearchable because even in eternity, we will never exhaust them. Because God is eternal and everlasting, so is what we receive from our Father, through Christ Jesus.

Another blessing is that the believer sits with Christ in heavenly places. If you are not a believer, He invites you to take a seat with Him today. Do it. Don't delay. You won't regret it.
