Can't Say That You Are, Until...

To be truly Biblical, a Christian and a Church must be enthusiastically Missional. To not have a heart after the lost is antithetical to what the Bible teaches. It is obviously of utmost importance to believe right, but even more so to live out the belief in our daily walk.

God created the world in six days and on the seventh day he rested. After the fall of man, because of Adam and Eve's sin, God began to redeem mankind. He foretold of the coming Saviour many times through His prophets, angels and His direct communications. His desire has always been to restore mans relationship with Himself.

God accomplished this through his Son, Jesus. He was born on earth without sin, lived a sinless life, and became sin for us at the cross where he died to redeem us. All of this because He was on a mission to reconcile the Creator with His creation, YOU. He came to set us free.

He expects and extols us to communicate that message of His love to all around us. As someone once said, "Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary, use words." Our actions speak louder than our words. To have a vision and a mission, and to not move upon it only creates frustration.

To be Biblical, doctrinally correct and orthodox, one can not help but to be missional, outreaching and ministerial. The two go hand in hand. Jesus said that we would receive His power to be witnesses. Witnesses are people who communicate a story, a message. Witnesses are not people who sit back and just watch events without and wait to see how things will pan out.

You and I have a message to tell. Such is the case that He calls us Ambassadors. We represent the Kingdom of God, therefore it is our duty to obey the King of kings. Remember that faith (doctrine, belief) without works (missional, ministry, outreach) is dead (lifeless, ineffective). As we become missional, in obedience to His commands, we demonstrate our faith and fight for it with our actions.

Lets go set people free!
